People often approach me on my training forums to ask me what their goals should be . And I answer that only they can decide this . It is amazing how many people tell me how difficult it is for them to set goals, and I agree with them on that . It is difficult, but it is also indispensable . With clear goals, you can do almost anything, and without them, you can't really accomplish anything . One of the main reasons people fail in their lives is that they waste too much of their time doing worthless or low-value things . The reason they have wasted all this time is that they have no idea what they really want . Once you have clear goals, your ability to manage your time improves dramatically.

Here's one way you can decide if something is a good use of your time or not . You just have to ask : "Does this push me towards achieving one of my goals?" "If this activity will help you achieve one of your goals that you have set for yourself, it is a good use of time . And if not , it is an abuse of time

When you get into the habit of doing nothing unless it pushes you towards achieving your goals, your life will move forward. Their results will improve .
